Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union is a member owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative. Credit Unions were founded on the idea that through a cooperative financial effort, individuals sharing common bonds could benefit. Credit Unions promote thrift, and income is passed along to its members in the form of higher dividends on savings accounts, lower interest on loans, or new and improved services.
Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union was chartered in June 1938. The Imperial Branch was opened in August 1999. Today, more than a half century later, we continue serving more than 2,900 members, providing a variety of loan products, savings and certificate products, and direct access products. Our credit union is federally chartered and federally insured to $250,000.00 by the NCUA.
Our Mission Statement
Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union is a financial cooperative locally owned and controlled by its members and was established to provide quality financial services and a safe, sound financial environment for members. We will adhere to the credit union philosophy of “people helping people” in serving our members needs.
